By | Sep 20, 2011

Steven Greenhouse of the New York Times reported today that Tyson has agreed to pay $32 million in back pay to 17,000 workers for the time they spent working in poultry factories “donning” and “doffing” their required work clothes and associated necessary gear to protect themselves and the poultry.

This settlement was approved last Thursday, and ends the twelve year old suit.
