Virginia Graves

Virginia Graves Virginia Graves earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2008, where she double-majored in Spanish and Psychology, and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011.During law school, Virginia earned a certificate in Public Interest Law, and was on the board of the Kent Justice Foundation. Ms. Graves also earned the Dean’s Distinguished Public Service Award for her extensive volunteer service during law school. During law school, Virginia obtained a 711 license for her third year and represented clients at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office in the Juvenile Division from 2010-2011, clerked at a health and disability law firm in 2010, worked at Chicago-Kent’s Health and Disability Law Clinic in 2009, and interned in Equip for Equality’s Special Education Clinic in 2009.Upon becoming licensed, Virginia volunteered as an attorney for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, acting as guardian ad litem for minors. In addition to practicing law, Virginia is involved in the Improv comedy community in Chicago, currently taking classes at The Second City.
