Who We Are
Since 1974, we have been the first choice of labor unions and injured workers in northern Illinois seeking legal help with their personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.
We earn the trust and loyalty of union leaders the old-fashioned way, by taking good care of their members and their families.
We have a 25-year history of formal relations with Illinois unions in the steel, auto, public utility, transportation, fabrication industries and construction trades. Many state, county, and municipal public employee unions also rely on our firm to help their members.
Our firm presently consists of Ian Elfenbaum, Michael J. Evers, Joseph D. Amarilio and Adam Hinrichs.
| Joseph D. Amarilio has focused on workers’ compensation law since 1979. He graduated with a degree in Political Science from Northwestern University in 1975, and from law school at the John Marshall School of Law in 1979, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the Law Review.
